High-temperature, chemically resistant product for sealing rigid metal flanges.
This anaerobically curing sealing product provides high temperature and chemical resistance on rigid, machined metal flanges.
LOCTITE 510 is a high-temperature-resistant anaerobic compound that cures in the absence of air between closely fitting metal surfaces and forms an instant low-pressure seal. It is ideal for rigid flanges, especially in gearboxes and engine housings. The gap size without the use of an activator is up to 0.25 mm (0.01"). Recommended for use on aluminum and steel flanges.
- For rigid metal flanges with small gaps
- Temperature resistance up to 204 °C (400 °F)
- Conforms to surface irregularities and scratches up to 0.25 mm (0.01")
- Increases torque strength of assembled flanges
- NSF category P1 registration
