HDH makes obsolete the old technology that uses external compensating trays, controls at the bottom, complex and delicate hydraulic systems, concentrating the controls at the top for faster intervention, lightening the unsprung masses and with them the total weight. The small height of the foot reduces the forces discharged on the stem for better smoothness
